The New York NGO Committee on Drugs (NYNGOC) aims to support civil society in engaging with the United Nations (UN) on international drug policy and practice

We facilitate the exchange of information between civil society organizations and UN agencies, member states, and other relevant UN bodies.

The NYNGOC operates under the umbrella of the Conference of NGOs in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations (CoNGO). Membership is open to all civil society organizations working on drugs, or drug-related fields (such as human rights, development, public health, harm reduction, HIV, etc.) but not individuals. To join the NYNGOC, please complete and submit the adjacent application form. Once approved, you will receive information about sending a payment of 20 USD per year for NYNGOC membership dues.

The annual membership fee is waived for members from low-income countries (as defined by the World Bank), organizations that are run by key populations (“peer-run” organizations), and members that can demonstrate financial hardship.
